Acro Yoga Pura Vida Style

Join Miranda & Ryan, aka the ACRO BUDDHAS for an acro yoga workshop open to all levels.

This workshop will explore numerous acro yoga postures and variations to expand your practice. Beginners are welcome!

With keen attention to alignment, we will cover foundational acro yoga postures, while also exploring drills and calibrations to refine existing strength and knowledge within the practice.  We will connect to the artistic aspect of the practice to create smooth and fluid lines of movement and energy.

We will also learn about counter balances and thai inspired acro yoga therapeutics.

The ACRO YOGA PURA VIDA STYLE WORKSHOP will be held at DANYASA ECO-RETREAT in the heart of Dominical, Costa Rica on FEBRUARY 21 from 5pm – 7:30pm.

Nestled at the base of rainforested mountains on the bank of the Baru River in Danyasa Eco-Retreat provides a sanctuary for living artfully in nature.  Danyasa is a boutique yoga retreat center with a focus on providing everything you need to explore the wonders of Costa Rica’s abundant nature as well as the wonders of your inner landscape. We invite you to join us for an uplifted and playful experience, through the connective and trust cultivating practice of acro yoga.

No partner required – although we encourage you to bring one to build your practice with.

ENROLLMENT FEE:  $30 USD /person in advance /// $35 USD /person at the door

WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS:  An established yoga practice or fitness regime of at least three months.  Please wear athletic apparel you can move in. No loose baggy clothing.

Acro Buddhas Workshop

Miranda and Ryan, aka the Acro Buddhas are acrobatic yoga teachers and performers based in Toronto, Canada.
With over 40 years of experience combined in movement arts, Miranda and Ryan share a highly sophisticated and refined understanding of body mechanics drawn through decades of training in yoga, personal training, competitive dance, competitive cheerleading, muay thai, and a highly advanced acro yoga practice.

Individually, Miranda currently teaches yoga full time, while Ryan is a full time private personal trainer. Together Miranda and Ryan fuse their love for movement through acro yoga performances and teaching workshops worldwide. Their love for acro yoga and partner yoga has changed their lives profoundly by cultivating a newfound connection to one another, elevating their passion to share movement in connection with the body, mind and soul. Their philosophy in life is to follow your bliss and inspire others to do the same.
