Chef and Dance Instructor
Andrea Mattson manages Edible Alchemy Foods, a Chicago based vegetarian & locally focused food project.
She is also a member of the Eco Collective in Pilsen where she manages the rooftop garden and teaches practical, food-related workshops to students of all ages.
A community-builder at heart, Andrea thrives on finding creative ways to bring her passion for gardening, cooking and medicinal herbs to others. She loves to ferment, experiment, learn and problem solve—especially when it involves seasonal, local ingredients.
Additionally, Andrea is a professional dancer, teaching and performing fire dance, burlesque, bellydance, veil dancing, and neo-vintage dance fusions all over the United States.
